Hmm. actually, its not exactly funny la. the above statement. not Haha(!) kind of funny, but u noe.. the makes-u-think-abt-it kind of funny.
well, the midyears. it has helped me in many ways. and when i say this, its not because i did very well this time round, or like the usual cliche, Pass with Flying colours. instead, it was the reverse la. oh well, i did get the "Flying Colours", but not the Pass u noe. Flying colours as in flying Red colour across my amath paper. hur.
its very depressing larr. but i will take this as a "wake-up call" as quoted from the ex-bpians. i believe that i will be able to do it, so yea, watch me. =D 10 points here i come! lol. shall become full-time mugger after chinese O's. for now, i shall breathe, sleep, speak chinese for this period of like 7 days? i hope i can get an a1! but very worried. since my chi zuowen only 34/50 and wenbi only 15.5. compared to my classmates, i really am lagging behind. like the chenyu i read just now, "wang chen mo ji" which means: too far behind to catch up. hmms, i hope (against hope) that i can get an a1. if not, i'll be super disappointed. upon reflecting on why i did so badly this time round, i realised that i have been very complacent and thought that "oh, im rather good at this what. dont need much practice larr". WRONG attitude estella! and yes, must admit that i have been Mentally and Physically Lazy. well well, its time i changed for the better.
Pride always comes before a fall. hey, i fell(not literally this time round) already! and now, im gonna become stronger. And better. i wish i wouldnt always let success "chong hun le tou". my results are like a yo-yo, all thanks to my pride. from today, i must be HUMBLE! and Self-disciplined! yeaps. *wo hui xi qu zhe ci de jiao xun, yi mian chong dao fu zhe*-> i will learn from my mistakes, and prevent it from happening again.
